Hi, I'm Lynda!
I have always been an organizer. From a very young age, I have sought to keep everything in its place.
I've raised three kids, now ages 26, 22 and 21, and over the years I've successfully corralled and coordinated just about everything - from baby diapers, to toys, grade school artwork, and all the necessities needed to set up a college dorm or apartment.
But in 2019, I had the opportunity to clean up and organize a two-story antique shop in exchange for the opportunity to to sell my flower art in a brick & mortar store. Located in a stately historic farmhouse, the shop had been largely inoperative and its many rooms were packed full of dusty antiques and random finds.
I spent weeks cleaning out the shop and re-staging the owner's lovely antiques in an organized and welcoming store setting. You can see some of that journey in my Instagram feed.
Out of that experience I found a renewed energy from organizing and cleaning out spaces. I was overjoyed when the antique shop finally had room to breathe, leaving the owner with a sturdy basis on which to continue building her passion.
I have decided then, to embark on a new addition for Salvage & Bloom, as I am now offering home and garage reorganization services to my current flower art and thrift business.
And my mantra remains simple: I help you Salvage, Reduce, Reuse and Rediscover, then Bloom.
I am now offering these services through my Salvage & Bloom website.
I will continue my love of refurbishing cool finds and listing them for sale here.
My flower art will be available for sale in my Etsy Shop.
Thank you for continuing with me on this journey!
