This is one of the Cincinnati-based Husman company's earliest one-pound potato chip can, which advertises "Easy To Digest."
Tins like this are ideal for small storage and add charm as a statement piece or addition to a vintage tin collection. You can even use this as a nifty rustic metal planter.
In 1919, Harry Husman started his potato chip company on Laurel Street here in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He used a pulley and rope to haul bags of potatoes up through the window and into his kitchen where he fried his potatoes.
