This piece started with a slab of salvaged wood, cut into small paddles, routed, sanded, stained and distressed.
The flower center was created using salvaged beverage and food cans, a fluted pan and two cookie tins. Each layer was hand cut and painted. Some pieces were hand painted with intricate designs, ensuring the final piece is a sum of its parts and always one of a kind.
