These are two vintage prints, framed alike and look to be a matched pair… but actually by different artists.
Jane Freeman’s “Chum”, featuring a sweet young girl clinging to her snow white kitty. Signed in plate.
And, by Arthur Devis, a handsome young fella with his little pup. This one is fittingly called “Friends."
Both subjects surrounded by floral and foliate. Our blood pressure has dropped while studying these pieces … soft and cozy.
These prints appear to have been framed and sold together, by GE Company of New York.
Minor blemish to bottom right of “Friends”; otherwise both are in fine vintage condition.
Wired, and ready to display on your favorite wall. They're ideal for decorators, set designers, photographers and more.
